I'm racist what?!!!!!!!!!

So a few years back I was doing a Richard Pryor comedy tribute show. If you know anything about Richard Pryor he pushed the limits of what was acceptable, broke a lot of traditional thoughts about comedy, and frankly I was stunned that I was invited to perform. I do know that my comedy is rather crude and from time to time it can be offensive, but I've also noticed that most of the people who get mad have nothing to do with the people I'm making fun of.

So, during this comedy show I told a few jokes that if you stretch the imagination some could have been construed, in some backasswards way, of being racist. For instance, I talk about dating a Canadian and I say "I know why would I want to date one of our Mexicans to the north...well with the current exchange rate one American dick is worth 1.5 Canadian dicks. I've never felt so black in my entire life". Clearly this is racist because black guys HATE having that HORRIBLE stereotype of having such big dicks.

Anyway, after the show this 19 year old, skinny, emo, white girl came up to me and said "your racist jokes about colored people don't fly in this town". At first I was a little stunned that she was that offended. Then I was stunned that she referred to black people as colored. Finally I was pissed off that she was offended by my jokes...this is comedy people, not "be an uptight twat hour"

I decided to explain my viewpoint on things to this girl. I honestly believe that no one should be off limits in comedy. I explained how if anyone had a right to make fun of other groups it was the Jews...after all we are the only people that were ever held as slaves by black people. When she said "Jews were never slaves", I countered with "who do you think built the pyramids?"

At this point tried to make her point by saying "There were no African-Americans in Egypt".

It was at this point I knew I would never win the argument. I was having a debate with someone who clearly had two brain cells that were fighting with each other.

"you dumb c***," I said "There was no America when the pyramids were built."

I left it at that and walked away.

Stupid people in this country and we wonder why we're all obese and in debt.

Pothead

So as many of you know I went couchsurfing this weekend, I'll have a full story update in the next couple of days. For those of you who don't know what couchsurfing is...Well, there's a website called couchsurfing.com You can go there and find strangers who have an open couch in a city that you are traveling to. You stay on their couch and hopefully hilarity ensues. In our case it certainly did.

Here's are some of the strangers we met...sorry about the poor sound quality. Oh the bum with the pot on his head...his name is pothead. Then there's mohawk breakdancer guy...but best of all is the old dude doing his awesome dance.
