Read more...So I decided I'd try my luck at this website called Omegle Basically it's a site where you can go and chat with random people on the internet. I figured it'd be fun to fuck with people so here are some of the results.
It has come to my attention that people think donating a dollar to my website might be a stupid waste of money. I have had some questions from some of my users and wanted to address those questions.
Q: Why should I donate to you, isn't your own stupid fault that you got into debt?
A: Here's the way I see things, you go out to a bar or a restaurant and someone waits on you, serves you food and you give them a 15-20% tip (unless you're a Jew like me, then why more than 8%...kidding) They've done about an hours worth of work and you paid them x dollars. Me on the other hand, I work everyday to bring you something funny to read and I do it for free. Now you could not donate a dollar, move along and not even think twice, or you could say "wow, this is pretty neat idea, even though this dumbass got himself into debt he's doing something to get out of it". All the while it costs you less than a mcdouble with cheese after tax. So donate a buck or donate more if you can.
Q: Why are you going to gamble the money you get, isn't that stupid?
A: By putting the money all on black, I feel it gives viewers something to come back and look forward to. Some will hope I lose, some will be rooting for me. I feel this gives people more of a reason to donate than just giving me a dollar towards my debt. Also as someone with a gambling problem, you'll also help me get my fix. Look at it as killing two birds with one stone or if you are in PETA look at it as protecting two birds by killing one bird hunter.
Q: I don't have a dollar, can I still help somehow?
A: YES! I have had people ask me how they can help out. Marketing a website like this is tough work and I work a full time job. Here are some ideas of what you can do. Tell your friends about this awesome website that you found and tell them to go visit. Perhaps you don't have a lot of real friends, but you have 1000's of people on your facebook page. Post on their walls to visit or just post your status message saying to visit and donate. Following me on twitter or joining my facebook group "Help 12konblack be successful" helps me out too. More importantly, keep checking back for the updates. If you have other ways you can help or know other ideas for internet marketing, let me know what they are and help me out some. Anything you can do will be greatly appreciated.
Q: Are you REALLY 24,000 dollars in debt?
A: Close to it. When I started this website I actually was abotu 23,450 in debt, at this point (just a mere 3 months later) I am just over 20,000 in debt. I'm working hard to pay my debts as well, so why not help me out with a buck? Shouldn't we reward hard work?
Q: What are you going to do if you win the roulette spin and make more than you owe?
A: I will donate all excess winnings (after tax considerations) to a yet to be named charity, if you listen to the radio show at the top left of my website, you'll see I said that if Bob and the Showgram helped me promote my site I would donate to "Bob's Buddies" a charity that helps kids with brain cancer (I think). He agreed on the air, but hasn't helped me promote the site or gotten back to me with any information on his charity.
Q: I only have a dollar should I still donate to you?
A: Yes. What else are you going to do with a dollar? I mean sure you could make all of your phone calls for up to 20 minutes with 10-10-220, but remember that number is defunct now and most of you don't even have a home phone. The truth of the matter is that those dollars actually help me a great deal.
Q: I have a large debt of my own, should I pay that off or donate to you?
A: A dollar isn't going to do anything for your debt, but it makes a huge difference for me.
Q: I have a small debt and a dollar would almost pay off the whole thing, should I still donate?
A: Yes, dollars are easy to come by. If you give me a dollar, you'll get another one soon.
Q: Where did you come up with this idea it's pretty ingenius?
A: It actually came to me while I was about to fall asleep one night, in my dreams I actually paid my entire debt off after only a year. For about 1/3 of a penny a day (for a year) you can help make my dreams come true!
Q: It seems like you haven't gotten many donations lately and I've also notice that your postings have fallen off considerably why is that?
A: From what I understand you have to sign up for paypal in order to donate to me now, this only takes a few minutes. As far as my number of postings going down...yeah about that, you see when donations dropped off I kind of lost a little motivation. I'll try to update, it just not be as much as before.
